Hey. I go to Harvard.

Yeah right!
It would make me sound sophisticated though, dontcha think?
My parents went to visit Harvard one time like 25 years ago...just for fun. And my mom bought this sweater there. The crazy thing is she's kept it all these years and I absolutely love it!

Sweatshirt: mom's. Button down: Thrifted. Jeans: Paris Blues. Loafers: WM.
Wearing elite college clothes is all the rage...so go rock that prep look! ;)

I wish I knew how to...

Love.
Not the romantic kind of love...or the "I only love you when you do all the right things." But that real unconditional love, the kind that no matter how mad they make you, or how many times they've hurt you, you forgive them and love them even more. I want to know how to do that. I attempt it. But I often fail, time and time again. I just finished reading a book, called an Echo in the Darkness, by Francine Rivers. The main character in this book loved despite everything. She loved everyone. It was remarkable. Even though she's a fictional character, I use her as a model of how to love like Jesus. Hopefully I'll keep getting better at showing that love. Because that love is the best kind of love.

Shirt: Thrifted. Skirt: F21. Socks: Burlington. Heels: Deb.

I was really petting her, not holding her mouth. Promise. haha.

My dad's crazy!

I hope you are learning how to love like Jesus. :)

I've got the Bieber Fever.

Yep, you heard me.
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Justin Bieber.
Just kidding!
I just rather enjoy seeing all of the crazy obsessive Bieber things at Walmart.
And I was informed by my sister that his birthday was yesterday. So this post is like a belated birthday present to him. haha ;)

Cardi: Old Navy. Shirt: WM. Jeans: F21. Flats: WM.

He is adorable in a lil' boy kind of way...but, I'm definitely not in on the Bieber Fever like 75% of the teenage girl population. I guess I'm not a teenager anymore, so it'd be a bit weird if I was in on the craze too huh?

"What's a Bieber?"
"I don't know, but it looks like a girl."

If you're a Bieber fan...you're in luck. Walmart has just about everything with Justin Bieber's face on it. So if you need something to help with that obsession of yours, don't worry, they have it! :)

I just really love...

HOMEWORK.

Just kidding. I hate it.
I hate presentations, I hate reading boring textbooks, I hate taking quizzes and tests, and anything that goes along with stress and grades.

Sorry, hate is a pretty strong word. But I'm really stressed tonight, so I think it is definitely allowed. Because homework is dumb!

But God made dogs for a reason...
He made them to console lil' college girls when they are having stressful days and just want it to be over.

See, doesn't looking into her sweet puppy eyes make everything all better?

I hope you have a cute puppy to cuddle up with when you're stressed. Or a cat...cause some cats do cuddle too.

Be Aware of the Fog...

It was one of those foggy misty days in Kansas today.
I kind of like the fog actually. Except when you have to drive through it on a highway at night, that does not make me like the fog. I know one time last year I was driving on the highway one foggy night on my way home, and I seriously would like slow down to 35 mph...just because I could barely see. It was freaky. Maybe I was a lil' too paranoid. Probably. But hey, it's okay to be scared of fog at night, right?

Hat: Target. Dress: Target. Cardi: Target. Belt: Charlotte Russe. Boots: Deb.

One other good thing about the fog, it makes pictures look pretty cool. :)
Just do me a favor, don't drive long distances on foggy nights, okay?

My Geeky Side is Coming Out...

I'm a geek.
I'm president of our business club on campus. Pretty cool huh?
This weekend we had a conference for all PBL clubs in Kansas, where we take tests, do presentations and win awards. It was pretty awesome. I've concluded boys have more fun than girls. The guys on our trip were absolutely hilarious. They were definitely my entertainment for the weekend.
The one thing I hate about the business conference or business things in general...no creativity with your clothes. And if you do look creative, you look unprofessional. So I usually stick with lots of black. It's the way to go for business. At least it's classy though. :)

Shirt: Target. Skirt: F21. Shoes: Walmart.

Go show your geeky side today...play some chess or something. ;)

Play me some blues...off of that BLUE piano!

I wish I could play the piano well.
But unfortunately, the piano hates me. It always has ever since I was like 7 yrs. old. I never liked to practice. I never liked memorizing the notes. So eventually I gave up on piano after a few years. But in middle school I decided I missed it... But it didn't matter, because the piano did not miss me. And eventually I gave up again. In High school, I decided I missed its beautiful music again. Then gave up again. So you see, the piano and me just aren't meant to be. It's quite a sad ordeal. Maybe someday, I'll magically be able to play the piano well...okay, I doubt it. So instead, I'll just take pictures on a blue piano. That seems to work better.

This piano in the pictures is probably the coolest color of blue I've ever seen of a piano.
I kinda wish I owned it...
Maybe someday I'll have a blue piano like this in my home.
I know you secretly want one too!

Oh pianos, I hope they don't hate you as much as they hate me... :)
